In Reunion Island, 10-year-old Nelson dreams of becoming a singer and has signed up for the singing contest Star Kids. Her friend Mia decides to find a coach to help him get ready. She settles on Pierre Leroy, an outdated French singer. When Pierre, disillusioned and solitary, meets with the stubborn Nelson, harmony is hard to find… Until their passion for singing gets them closer. Pierre, impressed by Nelson’s talent, will try his best to get THE ISLAND BIRD to fly his way to his dream.
